Building partnerships with industry leaders, business heads and curators of creativity, the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship brings together the intellectual capital of our renowned faculty, the passion and curiosity of our bright students, and the great minds of our city’s business community in order to build a better tomorrow.

Welcome to the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Augustana University is home to renowned professors and talented students, all of whom are passionate about building a brighter tomorrow. At the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, we’re building connections between our campus and the business owners, industry leaders and entrepreneurs throughout the community we all call home. Together, we’re maximizing our collective talents to think outside the box and create bold futures.

Call for Code

Call for Code has brought together over 400,000 developers and problem solvers from all over the world in the past three years. Through building new skills and putting them to use in the fight against climate change and natural disaster, we’ve seen incredible projects formed that are already creating tangible change in our world. Whether it’s our 2020 Global Challenge winner, Agrolly, enabling small farmers globally with the tools they need to adapt to climate change, or one of our Call for Code for Racial Justice projects, TakeTwo, calling out implicit bias across the web, inspiration can be found anywhere.

As our 2021 Global Challenge approaches, we would like to invite you to attend the Call for Code: State of the University Challenge presented by the Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) and IBM on Friday, March 26th at 7pm ET or on Saturday, March 27th at 7am ET.
