The following prerequisite courses for the accelerated track nursing program must be completed prior to beginning upper-division clinical courses (Fall 1).
- Bio 150 Human Anatomy — 4 credits*
- Bio 225 Human Physiology — 4 credits*
- Bio 250 Introductory Microbiology — 4 credits*
- Chem 116 Introduction to Chemistry — 4 credits*
- Chem 145 Survey of Organic and Biochemistry — 4 credits*
- AGES 289 Medical Terminology - 1 credit
- HLTH 222 Nutrition - 3 credits
- Soc 110 Contemporary Society — 3 credits (or equivalent)
- Math 140 Quantitative Reasoning — 3 credits (or equivalent)
- Psyc 210 Life-Span Human Development — 3 credits
- Nurs 228 Pathophysiology — 3 credits (Augustana offers this course online in the summer)
*The course must include a lab component.
NOTE: If the prerequisite courses are taken at another institution, a transcript analysis will determine course equivalencies.
